Uplift Community Alliance on the Air
Uplift Community Alliance recently had the opportunity to share its mission with a wide audience through a special radio interview. Carrie Drown and Merilynn Kessi represented Uplift during a recording of “Punto de Encuentro con Pablo Tellechea.” The interview took place on Tuesday, March 3, at the Eccles Broadcast Station on the University of Utah campus.
Hosted by Pablo Tellechea, the program provided a wonderful platform to introduce listeners to Uplift Community Alliance, highlight our ten philanthropic programs, and share how Uplift Thrift helps fund services for children, adults, and families in our community. The conversation also offered a chance to explain the many ways volunteers support Uplift’s mission.
The interview was a unique experience for both Carrie and Merilynn, as it was conducted in Spanish with the assistance of an English interpreter. The program was taped in both English and Spanish and will be broadcast across the United States and in many Hispanic countries on Avanza 88.3 FM, KUUB.
We are grateful for the opportunity to spread awareness of Uplift Community Alliance and to connect with new audiences who share our commitment to uplifting those in need.
