We had the exciting opportunity to show off our new name and identity at this year’s Millcreek Arts Festival, held on August 16, 2025. As in years past, our tent was once again buzzing with energy, as we connected with festival goers, shared our mission, and felt the support of so many who believe in making a difference. Our tent was staffed with many of our dedicated volunteers throughout the day, who celebrated our rebrand and sold books, toys, shoes, clothing and other interesting finds from Uplift Thrift.

Uplift Community Alliance was recently recognized with a Community Legacy Award – Honorable Mention for Resources at the annual People Helping People Awards Luncheon and Ceremony, held August 7, 2025, at Salt Lake Community College.

On Monday, June 9, 2025, Uplift Community Alliance member volunteers and guests cheered as Millcreek Mayor Jeff Silvestrini officiated at our ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the culmination of months of hard work transitioning to our new names - Uplift Community Alliance and Uplift Thrift. We were honored to have Holladay Mayor Rob Dahle also in attendance for this exciting event.
